WHAT DOES PARMI MEAN?
We’ve called our process “Parmi” because it has all the right connotations for what I do and what my consultants have learnt.
Parmi is an ancient Pali* word meaning ‘perfection/completeness / excellence’ and ‘that which goes beyond’. What we do is go beyond what people expect and our aim is to help people find their true selves, the best them, as it were. We work with clients in an authentic and involving way which helps them move themselves towards a fulfilled, rewarding and happy life. That may sound like a big claim – it is but it works.
* Pali is the sacred language of Theravāda Buddhism.
The oldest and, for the Theravada tradition, most authoritative texts documenting Buddhist thought and belief were written in a dialect of Prakrit that became known as Pali.
