ANXIETY AND STRESS
Anxiety is a normal emotion we all experience from time to time. At times, it is helpful in getting us to realise that our physical body or sense of self is in danger so that we can take effective action. Anxiety is a natural way in which our body responds to real or imagined threat. It becomes problematic when it is not adaptive, and we end up being stressed for prolonged periods of time. It can go on to affect our physical health and immunity. It can devastate one’s sense of wellbeing.
