CLINICAL EXECUTIVE
Dr Sophie Dilley is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist working in the NHS and in private practice. She has experience of working with individuals and couples facing a range of difficulties in life. These include depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, difficulties with sex, relationship issues, and chronic pain.
Sophie aims to provide an empathic and non-judgmental space within which to safely explore clients’ experiences and move towards change whatever that may look like. She draws on a number of evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to meet the needs of clients.
This is an integrative approach which incorporates theory and practice from humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapies, such as ACT and CFT. Sophie is currently undertaking additional training at Tavistock Relationships in psychosexual therapy.
