One size does not fit all. As a clinical psychologist I call upon a myriad of evidence-based therapies to offer a bespoke therapy to every individual client, be they referred for depression, anxiety, panic, narcissistic abuse, burnout, stress, post traumatic stress, grief, eating disorders and drug / alcohol dependence or couple work. Clients can be assured of a professional confidential and non judgemental service. Working with an ardent focus on the clients best hopes from psychotherapy, clients can be confident of being able to achieve solutions for their challenges through our work. I primarily use the third wave of psychotherapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MCBT) whilst tapping into helpful aspects of other psychotherapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Preprocessing (EMDR) as seen fit for the individual client. Having close links with other health professionals means I can work together with a multidisciplinary team should that be necessary.
A marked sense of well-being and increased contentment with greater effectiveness in all aspects of life is our focus. Clients are often surprised and, on occasion, amazed at the changes they have been able to make to their lives over a short period of time.
